New Faculty Campaign

The Wisconsin School of Business (WSB) promoted new faculty hires to further interact with their peer and alumni audiences through engaging photography, compelling news stories, and an interactive mailer.

Portrait Photography

In the first phase of the campaign I worked with photographer Paul Newby II and provided photo art direction to capture headshots, studio portraits, and environmental portraits for use in marketing and communications materials.

Online News Article Graphics

WSB released a news article introducing the latest faculty hires. I created a feature image and individual images of each person to pair with quotes in the story.

Direct Mail Brochure and fold-out poster

To expand the reach of this campaign, WSB sent a direct mailer that continued the story of the new faculty hires as well as highlighting some of their many accomplishments and areas of research.

The brochure is folded to flip through like a booklet on the front and opens as a poster on the back. The folded brochure was secured on an insert to keep it front and center and mailed in 10x13 red envelopes. Spot varnish was applied on the poster side over the red text to create texture and further elevate the design.
